Marianne Rose is a Fractional General Counsel and in-house legal leader with more than 20 years of experience advising blue-chip organisations across financial services, infrastructure and utilities, and construction. She has held senior in-house roles at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Power and Water Corporation, Jacobs, and Kier Group, giving her rare cross-sector depth in the practical realities of contracting within heavily regulated environments.
Marianne holds a BA/LLB (Honours), a Master of Laws, and a Graduate Diploma of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She holds a current Western Australian practising certificate and is an active member of the Law Society, where she sits on the Technology and Law and In-House subcommittees.
Her practice has focused on the intersection of commercial contracting, regulatory compliance and AI; designing legal frameworks that survive not only the negotiating table but the operational and regulatory scrutiny that follows. She has advised on major infrastructure procurement, energy sector agreements, and financial services arrangements and built agentic AI agents for her clients to solve routine compliance and workflow issues.
Marianne is a contributor to the Law Society of Western Australia's Brief magazine and a regular participant in professional development initiatives for the in-house legal community.
